MyEducation BC Family Portal

MyEducation BC Family Portal is open for students and parents.

There are several benefits associated with the MyEducation BC Family Portal. Parents and students will be able to view live attendance entries, student schedules, next year course requests, course achievement records and term/final report cards.

All Report Card will be made available online. Hard copies will NOT be sent home.

All students should have their portal accounts (Login ID = student number) activated from the course selection sessions earlier in the year. 

If you have forgotten your password, please enter in your Login ID, and click “I forgot my password” hyperlink. Temporary password will be emailed to your primary email address you have indicated when you initially logged into the portal. Your account will be disabled after 5 invalid login attempts. 

Self-serve password recovery will not be available if you have failed to entered in your primary email and a security question. If you receive a message to contact system administrator, please come to the office to further assistance.

After logging into your account, please check your security settings under Preferences. Review or reset your primary email and security questions as needed.

If you are a parent or a guardian and if you have not received your login ID and temporary password for the portal, please email Hannah.Santillan@sd41.bc.ca with your full name, a call back number, and your child’s student number to obtain your portal login information. (We are unable to send/receive emails from yahoo.com email accounts. If you own a yahoo.com email account, please use an alternate email or call the office directly at 604-296-6895 ext. 610008.)

The Burnaby School District has produced reference materials for parents related to logging in and general portal use. These can be viewed at: http://blogs.sd41.bc.ca/myedbc/parent-resources/. We would highly recommend for all parents to go through initial login process on a computer so that you do not miss the steps of setting up your primary email and security questions.

For the parents who have successfully logged into the portal, if there is any incorrect information listed such as addresses and names, please email Hannah.Santillan@sd41.bc.ca with the correct information.
